1. This crap's gone too far! - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
So much trouble to trap a sniper, let alone a sniper team, while it's so easy for a sniper (even a lone one) to set up a gankfest. Range boosted weapons Sub-second lock times Both from the same module Align-to-warp ftw.

Originally by: Whelan Iskander Originally by: Hoshi Utsukushi I think there are a lot of reasons to allow empire ganking and also a lot of reasons to restrict it (more). But I also think that the worst enemy is the false security...

Originally by: Rod Blaine The basic cause for this thread and most others like it has preciously little to do with security. It's the basic difference between two gameplay preferences. On one hand you have people like the op here, that s...

5. Open Season on Indy pilots in Empire!!! - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
ThatÆs what happens when the risk/reward ratios skew too much in favour of pirates, I guess. Every wannabe ganker and petty criminal is dusting off a recyclable alt or two to try and cash in on the feeding frenzy.

7. How many of you are unhappy with how easy CCP has made it to gank ,,, - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
First salvo from pirates is free. They choose when and where to initiate combat. Their one and only concern is pure, out-and-out combat (disable sooner, kill faster). They have the element of surprise. They just need to sit in one spot. They can p...

9. Open Season on Indy pilots in Empire!!! - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
In EVE, the aggressor has the advantage almost all the time. High-sec ganking, low-sec gatecamping, low/no-sec miner hunting, the agressor chooses the time and place, has the element of surprise, has easier loadout choices and can better plan his ...

10. Gatecampers - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Originally by: Fellhand I hate low-sec gatecamps. Not because they're unfair but because they're lazy, the ultimate "I Win!" button that uses overwhelming force on someone who often has no way of fighting back, requires little skill and li...

Edited by: Qing Feng on 28/06/2006 06:52:41 As I stated before, I wasn't actually complaining. Since I'm playing the game, I'll live with it. But I'm free to make observations about my experience in-game, am I not? I can deal with the loss. I...

Edited by: Qing Feng on 28/06/2006 04:19:23 Right... "Jumping In" is what I'm talking about, not warping in. I've been popped within 5 secs of uncloaking, as I was aligning for warp. (Nothing in front of me to warp to, I checked while I was c...

17. Gatecampers - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Lowsec gatecampers are cowardly, dishonorable scum who wring every advantage they get from game mechanics in order to take your hard-earned items, ISK and ultimately, time, from you. Sometimes they do it for profit, sometimes they do it out of pur...

Edited by: Qing Feng on 27/06/2006 03:56:27 I would think that a nice complement to a miner/refiner skillset would be a full trader skillset, esp. since you'll be sitting in a station most of the time. Turn that time to productive use by sett...
